Welcome to Platform Hopper! By accessing or using Platform Hopper, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms").
In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Benam Games, the operator of Platform Hopper, and "you" or "your" refers to the person or entity accessing or using Platform Hopper.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the game or services.
1. Accounts
- To use Platform Hopper, you may create an account using a valid email address and username. An account is required only to submit scores for campaign levels or to publish levels to the Community Portal. To prevent spam and abuse, you must verify your email address during the sign up process using a temporary verification code that will be sent to your email.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Your password and other sensitive account information are securely stored using hashing techniques, and this information is never logged or shared.
- You may not share accounts or use multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or bypass restrictions.
2. User Content
- Platform Hopper allows users to create and publish levels to the Community Portal via the Level Editor.
- By submitting content, you grant Benam Games a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within Platform Hopper.
- Content must not include references to swearing, sexual content, or other NSFW material.
- Benam Games reserves the right to remove or block any content that violates these Terms without notice.
3. Monetization
Platform Hopper is free to play and free to sign up. There are currently no in-game purchases or subscriptions.
4. Advertising
- Platform Hopper displays third-party advertisements to support the game, which is provided free of charge to play.
- These ads are delivered by external networks and may link to websites or services not controlled by Benam Games.
- Benam Games is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of any third-party advertisements or linked websites.
- By using Platform Hopper, you acknowledge and agree that advertisements are a necessary part of the free service.
5. Data Collection and Security
- We collect email, username, IP address, and cookies (HTTP-only) for account management, security, and analytics.
- We may use your email address to send temporary password reset links or other essential account-related notifications upon your request.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the game and improve UI/UX.
- We use third-party services, including Cloudflare Turnstile, to protect our site from bots and abuse. These services may process limited data as described in their privacy policies.
- All confidential account data, including passwords, is securely stored using hashing techniques.
- By using Platform Hopper, you consent to this data collection and storage.
6. Age Restrictions
Platform Hopper is intended for users of all ages. Users are responsible for ensuring that content they upload is appropriate for all ages.
7. User Conduct
- Do not upload offensive or inappropriate content.
- Do not attempt to hack, disrupt, or manipulate Platform Hopper or other users’ accounts.
- Do not access servers, systems, or content in ways not intended by Benam Games.
- Violation of these rules may result in the suspension or permanent banning of your account.
8. Liability and Warranty
Platform Hopper is provided "as-is" without warranty. Benam Games is not responsible for service interruptions, downtime during updates, or any damages resulting from your use of the game. Use Platform Hopper at your own risk.
9. Changes to Terms
Benam Games reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Platform Hopper after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
